In this part of I will focus on the places I like to visit and their attractions. Besides Vienna my second favorite city is Budapest. I love visiting this city a few times a year and I have been doing this for more than 15 years. What I find less satisfying are those that present only the tourist spots of a city.
Calling myself lucky in Vienna I can visit other cities within Austria and Eastern Europe relatively fast. It is less than 3 hours to Budapest, Bratislava and Vienna are the two closest capitals in the world. It only takes approximately 45 minutes to go from Vienna to Bratislava. Besides that Prague is an approximate 4 hour train ride from Vienna.
